It’s been pretty quiet here lately – meaning: I haven’t posted anything on this blog for quite some time. Not even on the Dutch and German version. I could say it’s due to the fact that I have been busy, but that would be a lie. I just didn’t have the motivation and energy to write on here and share something with anyone who drops by.
A lot has happened in my personal life lately. Mostly things that I am not gonna share on here. It felt wrong to write about other things and sharing bits and pieces of a life that consists of so much more. My blog has been my hobby since 2013, and I have never taken such a long break before. I always missed writing, and this was the first time that I didn’t really miss it. And decided that I am fine with not posting anything for a while.
At a certain point, I even considered to stop completely. To just delete this blog, or let it stay around somewhere in the depths of the internet, sometimes being found by hazard by someone googling for some travel tips and wondering about that weird blog name. I wasn’t sure if I would ever have the energy or motivation to blog again. But then I realized that I did miss writing somehow. Not all the time, but sometimes – it’s my way to share something with the world, to share my joy about travelling and fashion and to spend my evenings that I am not standing on the dance floor. And although I will most likely never be one of the big bloggers that actually make money with their blog, I kinda miss living in the blogger world. So I decided that I’ll come back.
I guess it will take some time until I will post content more regularly again – because after all, blogging is not the only thing I didn’t have motivation and energy for over the past months. But I am looking forward to write again from time to time, and to share little bits and pieces of my life in the Netherlands with you. I’d love to see some of you back here with me! (:
