Travel Plans: 5 City Trips for 2019

I just love city trips! For some reason however, 2018 some of the planned trips didn’t really work out. Time to change that! I put together a list of five European cities I want to visit in 2019. Been to one of them? Make sure to leave your tips for me in the comments below! So looking forward to start planning and travelling!

Vienna

The first one is obvious: I wanted to go last year and it didn’t work out. I’ve heard so many good things about Vienna, that I finally want to go myself. Plus it’s not too far at all from Munich – you can get there with a four hour drive, so we should really go. Can’t wait to see all those historical buildings, experience the culture and have some coffee at one of the traditional and well-known coffee houses.

Paris

When I left Paris after having been an au pair there, I promised myself to come back at least once a year. From all the places I lived so far, Paris is one of the few I could imagine returning to, although I never hold that promise I made. It’s time to change that! I just love Paris, the city itself, the culture, the food, the small streets…can’t wait to finally stroll through the streets of my favourite quarters again!

Berlin

Berlin, Berlin…been there several times already, and surely going twice this year due to work and dancing. However, I really want to explore more, not only the sights but the every day life there. I want to visit my former dancing partner who is now studying there, go shopping, and just enjoy being there. Plus I really want to go in summer for once, as I have only been in Berlin in autumn and winter so far.

Florence

I love Italy, and after having visited Venice and Verona last year, I am very much looking forward to exploring another Italian city in 2019. My husband and me also already went to Rome, so the next city on my bucket list is Florence – I just saw so many cool pictures that I really want to go. Maybe on a nice summer weekend, but just outside the holiday season to avoid too many people being there…I’d love it! Also looking forward to all that pizza and gelato!

Budapest

Last but not least: Budapest! I’ve heard so many good things, and also I would love to see my friends from two semesters abroad there again. That’s one of the best reasons to travel, anyways!

What are your travel plans for the year? Make sure to leave a comment if you want to share any inspiration, always looking for tips!

xx from Munich
