It’s about a week ago now that I was in Milan, and of course I couldn’t resist to take some outfit photos when I came across this beautiful entrance to some building.
Culottes are still one of my favorite outfit options for the summer. I don’t like wearing shorts all day when traveling. Not because I feel I couldn’t show my legs, but mostly because I just don’t like sitting down on all kind of chairs, in the bus…with shorts. So culottes are an easy option to overcome this problem!
Also, in certain countries, culottes can really save you. Not everywhere it’s accepted to just run around in shorts, as some cultures require women to cover there knees. In Italy, this is not a problem, however, I really recommend researching on the country you are traveling to and its cultures. This way, you can easily prevent offending somebody!
I chose for some simple clothes to complete my outfit. The top can be changed to dark grey by turning it to the other side, but in this case I went with dark blue. Same with the shoes – usually I prefer heels with culottes to stretch the legs optically, but when walking around in a city all day? No thanks!
So what do you think of my look?
xoxo from Milan!
