Eat & Drink: Adrienne’s Pizza | New York
As we have been going out for dinner quite often lately, I figured it might be a good idea to restart the post series of Eat & Drink again. And as Adrienne’s Pizza is one of my favorite locations in Manhattan for pizza (and tbh, pizza is my all-time favorite anyway), I guess it’s time to present it here.
When I was in NYC in 2014, Adrienne’s Pizza was something that we didn’t find in our guides – we were just looking for some not too expensive place for an easy dinner somewhere close to our hotel. We ended up walking through the Financial District and looking for this rather small restaurant, but when we finally found it, we knew it was worth it. It’s always a good sign when there are many people sitting in the restaurant, and that’s for sure the case at Adrienne’s Pizza. At some evenings you might even need to wait for a table (which is not that rare in NYC…), but as I said, it’s absolutely worth it.
You can either order a normal pizza or a tray. One normal pizza is usually enough when we go with the two of us, with my brother we ordered a tray. You can decide on toppings for the entire pizza or on one half (careful, garlic actually means entire garlic cloves, and not little pieces). And the prices are really okay, especially considering the great taste!
Adrienne’s Pizza Bar is located in Stone Street in Manhattan, close to some other restaurants (some of them will soon be tested by me!). In the summer you can sit outside on the small street and just enjoy the evening…I just love the location!
